Our achievements

  • In 2022 we provided a total of 688 hours of training covering the following topics:

    -quality & compliance, to ensure in-depth training and information on the Quality Management System and specific regulatory applications in cosmetics and medicine, including regulatory affairs and procedural guidelines;

    -occupational health and safety, in order to update all staff, as well as people specifically in charge of these issues;

    -onboarding, a process dedicated to welcoming and accompanying new employees;

    -environmental training, in order to implement regulatory updates on environmental labelling, implementation of regulations through CONAI guidelines, and COSMOS certification.
  • In the year 2022 we delivered 508 hours of health and safety instruction;
  • we financially support our employees by providing restaurant coupons, vouchers that can be spent through a number of different business partners;
  • to support our employees’ purchasing power, in 2022 we created a corporate discount portal through which they can save on a variety of products and services;
  • In 2022 we developed a corporate welfare plan assigning all employees a figurative amount with a predetermined value for use of welfare services aimed at supporting personal and family life and improving pension plans and healthcare coverage;
  • To improve employees’ work-life balance, in 2022 we introduced the possibility of working from home for one day a week, compatibly with the tasks performed. We also introduced flexible working hours.

  • Constant provision of training courses with the dual purpose of strengthening both hard skills and soft skills at all levels in the organisation.

Our achievements

  • 79% women on our staff;
  • 67% of these women hold a managerial role, playing a significant role at both the operational and strategic decision-making levels;
  • The principle of Gender Pay Equality is one of our key pillars, on the basis of which we guarantee the same level of pay to women and men holding equivalent positions: overall, the ratio of male to female pay stands at around 97%.
  • We are committed to promoting female empowerment not only within our company, but also in the society in which we live, through special Social Responsibility projects, such as:

    - 2015: support for the “Pagina Bianca” or “White Page” campaign of the NGO FareXBene, aimed at raising awareness against all forms of violence and abuse against women.

    - 2019: awarding of the “BioNike Award” in support of female entrepreneurship. The BioNike Award travelled all over Italy, drawing attention to the dreams and success stories of women who believed in the strength of their dreams, channelling all their aspirations and energies into the realisation of their projects. The initiative spotlighted women’s entrepreneurial skills and rewarded the winner with significant financial support to invest in the development of her business.

    - 2023: support for the ”Women for Women against Violence” campaign, aimed at promoting the fight against gender-based violence and the prevention of breast cancer. In addition, we supported women with Konenki OdV, an association that supports women at all stages of menopause.

SOCIETY


Our commitment to society is also reflected in our financial support and donations of our products to non-profit organisations that support vulnerable people and families.

Our achievements

Over the years, we have launched specific awareness-raising and social support projects, including the following:
  • From 2014 to 2016 we implemented educational initiatives in Italian primary schools and high schools to teach the new generations the importance of proper personal hygiene and healthy exposure to the sun, and to cultivate self-esteem and respect for oneself and others during the delicate phase of adolescence.
  • From 2015 to 2017 we supported the non-profit association “FareXBeneOnlus with the “White Page” event combatting gender violence, bullying and cyberbullying.
  • In 2016 we supported the non-profit association “Doctors with Africa Cuamm” with the purchase of newborn medical equipment for particularly disadvantaged areas;
  • In 2020, our group helped fight the Coronavirus emergency by supporting Italian hospitals at the forefront in the care of patients with CoVID-19 infections, donating medical equipment, protective equipment and useful products such as disinfectants, sanitisers, soothing agents and moisturisers.
  • In 2023 we supported the Ambrosiano Reception Centre, a community that welcomes women and children experiencing economic and social hardship, with a donation of personal care products.

We support the oncology departments of hospitals in Italy: our make-up artists organise make-up sessions for patients or other women suffering from the disease who wish to rediscover their femininity and the pleasure of looking in the mirror. Four Italian hospitals have joined the project to date, with about 20 days completed.

ART


We experience true beauty as an emotion, something you feel, on your skin and within yourself, something you can convey to others. This is why we see art as true beauty.

We support art in all its many forms, because we are convinced that there are no limits to the definition of art.

  • Since 2011 we have embarked on a path celebrating the affinity between beauty and art through sponsorship of important exhibitions, the restoration of works of art and support for the work of great Italian theatres:
  • 2011-2012: Restoration of the Annunciation by Alesso Baldovinetti at the Uffizi in Florence
  • 2013: Sponsorship of the Titian exhibition at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome
  • 2014: Sponsorship of the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome
  • 2015: Sponsorship of the Amedeo Modigliani exhibition at Palazzo Blu in Pisa and of the Matisse exhibition at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome
  •  From 2015 to date: Sponsorships at the Scala in Milan, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Teatro Regio in Turin, the Teatro dell ‘Opera in Rome, the Teatro Bellini and the Teatro Stabile in Naples, the Pompeii Theatrum Mundi
  • We celebrate the ongoing search for excellence, talent, and beauty pure enough to become an art form: for this reason, from 2019 to 2022 we were partners of the Farfalle Azzurre (Blue Butterflies), as Official Sponsor of the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team, and Beauty Partner of the Italian Gymnastics Federation (2020-2021)
