BIONIKE FOR RESEARCH

We have always chosen to invest in research and make it our strength.

We invest constantly in our own in-house Research & Development laboratory to promote constant study of the health and well-being skin and stimulate ongoing innovation in our formulas. We collaborate with external specialised centres, universities and opinion leaders (dermatologists, trichologists, paediatricians, gynaecologists, aesthetic doctors...) to support our ongoing research into formulas.

We participate in world congresses in dermocosmetics and dermatology, and periodically support important research institutes that stand to contribute to fundamental advances in skin and personal health.

TRAINING & INFORMATION

Providing medical training and information nation-wide is a key part of our company’s identity.

Providing medical information is an important activity which BioNike began over 60 years ago, making specialised physicians the focus of its proposal to the market, as one of the first companies to offer them dermocosmetic solutions as adjuvants for pharmacological therapy in the treatment of dermatological symptoms.
We discuss a number of our products with these doctors, namely dermocosmetics, medical devices and nutraceuticals offering concrete answers to prevalent dermatological disorders such as psoriasis, acne, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, allergic and irritant contact dermatitis, actinic keratosis and alopecia.

Our 51 agents establish a direct relationship with pharmacies by meeting with them periodically to describe the benefits of BioNike dermocosmetic and nutraceutical products and collecting constructive feedback. These bonds create solid, long-lasting relationships with customers, built upon mutual esteem and trust.

Our third sales network (after pharmacies and medical informants) consists of consultants/instructors, founded in 2012 to support the relaunching of our line of decorative and corrective make-up. It now consists of 52 partners who work alongside cosmetic department managers in the country’s best pharmacies and parapharmacies on a daily basis, organising special theme days to pamper their customers.

Our achievements

  • We have a nationwide network of 50 medical informants who visit 4275 dermatologists, 2035 aesthetic doctors, 2025 gynaecologists and 6100 paediatricians annually. These stakeholders are visited an average of 5 times a year, resulting in a total of about 70,000 potential visits;
  • Our 52 beauty consultants are on hand in about 2,250 pharmacies to offer personalised advice to consumers, working a total of more than 10,000 days each year;
  • We have developed an online training portal where doctors and pharmacists can find information about our products and consult video insights regarding various cosmetic and dermatological issues;
  • In 2023 we marked the launch of BioNike Cosmeceutical by holding 17 meetings and 5 webinars available on demand on our training portal.
